Model 28X, 28XS (Crossdraw) belongs to the same family of holsters as the Model 28, based on the classic wraparound concept. However, it has a slight muzzle forward rake, which makes it ideal for use as a crossdraw holster. In keeping with holsters of this design, it too has a stabilising slot which, combined with a stitched rear belt flap, eliminates lateral movement and allows for positive positioning over a trouser belt-loop, pulling the weapon close into the body for optimum concealment. Bonded sight rails are standard and the mouth is leather reinforced for one-handed re-holstering.
This makes it particularly suitable for wide-bodied autos (Glock, Sigma, etc.). Rear protective tab option is available (S in model designation denotes no protective tab).
