The JCB like many task-specific holsters, is essentially designed to allow its user to have instant access to a handgun while strapped in behind the wheel of a car. The rear of the holster is covered in 2" wide Velcro. A matching self-adhesive strip of Velcro (supplied) is permanently fixed to the lap section of the seat belt in the car. On entering the vehicle, the user removes the weapon from its conventional holster, places it in the JCB, then attaches it to the matching Velcro on the seat belt. The "2 wide elastic security binding with which the holster comes equipped (also Velcro-fastening) is then wrapped around the holstered weapon and seat belt and secured. The whole procedure takes seconds and leaves the weapon in an unobtrusive position, but readily available. When leaving the vehicle, the operation is reversed. When not in use, the JCB should be left permanently in the car, preferably in the glove compartment. It is available in a choice of the standard three colors and is precisely blocked to the weapon it is designed to carry. The rear protection tab comes as standard. Check the availability of the JCB for your weapon by consulting the Holster Selector Chart.
